The Restoration of Balance is dedicated to a profound transformation of lives and communities through the revival and preservation of Alaska Native Traditional Spiritual Arts. With transformative power, our holistic approach aims to create lasting, meaningful impacts by strengthening and sustaining the artistic and cultural transmission of traditional animistic and spiritual relationships. We are committed to living in balance and promoting collective reciprocity and equitable redistribution for our communities.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to foster a profound, enduring transformation by revitalizing and maintaining the artistic and cultural practices that embody our
animistic and spiritual traditions.
We aim to inspire a ripple effect that will enrich the lives of Alaska Natives and contribute to a balanced and reciprocal relationship with our environment and each other.
This involves a mindful responsibility to live in harmony, ensuring that these practices benefit individuals and the broader community.
Our Mission
Our mission is to Restore Balance through the exploration and implementation of
Alaska Native Spiritual Arts, known as Dyen (Denaakk’e - Koyukon Athabascan Language,)
to benefit the well-being of all community members.
We seek to protect and revitalize Traditional Ecological Knowledge, co-create wellness through Indigenous ways of Knowing and Being, and assert our inherent right to Sovereignty.
By focusing on these areas, we strive to contribute to our people's collective health and spiritual vitality.
Our Vision
Our vision is to integrate Traditional Healing Arts
through the guidance of Deyenenh (Denaakk’e: shaman, medicine person) and Alaska Native Traditional Medicine Persons.
These respected individuals play a crucial role in leading and advising on the implementation of our efforts,
ensuring its cultural authenticity and respect for Indigenous leadership.
We envision being catalysts for ‘The Great Remembering,’ a process of reawakening and reconnecting with our ancestral knowledge and practices.
This vision is grounded in the principles of relationship, responsibility, reciprocity, and redistribution.

Educate, Provide, and Protect
Provide education for Alaska Native youth on Traditional Spiritual Arts, ensuring that the knowledge is accessible and safeguarded.
Gather, document, and protect oral histories offered by our Elders related to Alaska Native Traditional Spiritual Arts. We are creating a protected repository for verified Tribal Citizens or Alaska Native descendants seeking this information.
By achieving these goals, the Restoration of Balance will not only preserve and revitalize our spiritual arts and cultural heritage but also empower our communities to thrive through a reimagined and revitalized connection to our Traditional Spiritual Arts. Through these efforts, we will exert our sovereignty and right to religious freedom, and we will collectively contribute to the overall well-being and resilience of Alaska Native peoples. One of the ways we will achieve this is by creating opportunities for elders to pass down their knowledge to the younger generation, ensuring the continuity of our cultural practices.
